Hello! I'm a visual designer with vast experience handling various projects across different industries. The best part in my job is creating fresh visual ideas and engaging in hands-on teamwork.

 

Artificial intelligence has unlocked the potential to animate traditional drawings and paintings. Building on my graphic design background, I have recently blended my artwork with AI-driven video, experimenting with these evolving mediums to push creative boundaries. My practice has shifted toward video, combining AI, illustration, and graphic design to create surreal, Dali-esque landscapes. These abstract, conceptual works utilize transformative transitions to capture the present moment in a digital space. 

 

Currently, I'm deepening my expertise in Turku Arts Academy's Film and Media Research Group studies. My background includes a Bachelor of Culture and Arts (Digital Communication) from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences and a secondary school diploma from Helsinki Upper Secondary School of Visual Arts. While technology elevates the creative industry, it requires artists to master new competencies to thrive in an AI-driven economy. I echo Robb Boylett’s sentiment in Designweek that a designer must command AI as a tool, rather than being directed by it. 

 

I treat these new digital tools like a canvas, where motion and still frames converge as individual works of art. Through my portfolio, I seek to illustrate the shifting relationship between technology and human creativity, highlighting current AI capabilities in visual design while exploring the distinction between technology and human creation. My upcoming thesis focuses on generative AI in video format, examining its utility and the evolving professional identity of a visualist.
